New Martha Stewart Decorative Paint Line

we have some exciting new products to introduce you to today...
they just happen to be by miss martha stewart herself.
(we are practically related you know... our maiden name is steward... i'm sure there's a connection somewhere down the line. haha)
about a week ago we received a package in the mail just full of product!
it was like Christmas morning for us!!
it was the new Martha Stewart Crafts Decorative Paint Line by Plaid.... and boy were we impressed!!
The paint is formulated to work on all crafting surfaces including:
 and fabric.
Plus it's indoor/outdoor safe and dishwasher-safe on glass.
There are 160 paint colors in five finishes.
High Gloss
and Metallic
All come in 2 oz. bottles and are non-toxic (so safe to use with children).
i think i was most excited about all the applicator tops that screw right on top of the paint bottle!!
i just had to give one a try!!
i was a little worried how the paint would come out... but it worked perfectly. i'm sure i'll be using this little tool pretty often.

after i had my design stenciled on... i just painted on a simple bat silhouette.
my first halloween decoration of the year!!

we also had to try painting on glass... because how cool is that!!
especially since it's dishwasher safe!

i see many more projects in the near future!!
check out this AWESOME footstool that Beckie from Infarrantly Creative made using the new Martha Stewart products. i'm in love!!

We do A LOT of glass work and have tried the Martha line recently. The red we are using currently is Habenero (Satin finish) and it comes out QUITE red on glass. Theres no mistaking it. We've had instances with other paints that came out pinkish or with no colour at all on the glass when we hoped for red. But Martha's is a dream to work with thus far.

I'm hoping to pick up a few other shades of red in the next few days. Chipotle sounding interesting.

  16. This made me want to go out and start painting - and I've never been much of a painter! haha

  17. I love your bat!! I am in love with those applicator tops too. Such a genius idea!!

I have my Halloween project HTML and will be sending it over tonight :)

  18. Oh my gosh, how cute is that?? I plan to do some coffee cups too, I've already made a couple of projects and have so many more ideas! I have posted my his and hers trays using the pearl and satin paints.

  19. Would you be willing to share with me the size is your plaque? Did you buy it or cut it yourself? If you bought it where did you get it? Thank you! I love your blog! Love!

  20. Wow, I love that stencil...especially love your bat plate! Excited for Halloween! Are you doing another Spooktacular September?

  21. Sooo cute! I can't tell it is looks like fabric with an applique!
