here are some tips for those first time users...

shake the can vigorously before spraying

lift sections of hair to get to your roots

spray in short bursts not a continuous spray (like hairspray) 8 to 12 inches from your head

leave it in 1 to 2 minutes then use your fingers or brush to distribute evenly throughout your hair

if by chance you get a clog, remove nozzle and run under hot water
