  12. Auto mode can't do it all. Just like the auto mode on an air plane, the pilot still needs to be there do to the hard stuff. I need to learn how to be my cameras pilot!

  23. I love, love, love Ashely. And her photography is amazing. I have tried to take the "live" class as I am in the area but it always sold out so fast. If I were fortunate enough to get to take the online class I would love learning everything she has to teach, not just one thing, because they all connect and she makes is seem so easy.

  38. I've followed Ashley's blog for over a year and have always loved the idea of her SnapShops. It made me so happy to see them offered online! I would love to learn how to feel confident with my Canon Rebel outside of the automatic setting. I did sports photography in high school with a similar camera but a refresher and a chance to go more in-depth would be wonderful!

  74. I have a Canon 50D and know how to use it pretty well. I do leave it in "P" mode, play around with the shutter speed and white blance and do OK most of the time but would love to learn more about all the other fancy stuff on my camera.

I have had a beautiful camera for over a year and so want to learn how to make the most of it. My husband is a genius at photography and takes awesome pictures.I on the other hand, know about photography and good moments and poses to capture but I don't actually take the pictures... my husband does! I would LOVE to be able to learn how to take great pictures and be able to put my creativity to work on my own!   157. TIME. It is the most valuable asset, something you can never get back. Photos capture that moment in time, and without them, it is but a memory. I want my pictures to tell the story. Not the posed 'picture perfect' (haha), but the real everyday life. I want to make it last forever.

  158. Definitely frustrated with my point-and-shoot, but haven't gotten around to buying a new camera yet, so maybe I'm not quite qualified...

    But! Lighting is troublesome for me, as well as capturing everyday pictures rather than posed shots. Also, I have extremely unsteady hands, and capturing shots that are less blurred would be fantastic :(

  163. I have a one month old baby girl at home, so my favorite part of this class would be the cheat sheets that Ashley gives out to sum up everything we learned. Her cute little moments are so fleeting, have a quick reference quide would be amazing!
