We love handing out candy during our town's trick or treat night. It's so cute to see the kids dressed up and excited to run around the neighborhood!
My boyfriend and I are so excited for Halloween this year because we just bought a house earlier this year and this will be the first time we get to decorate our very own house and pass out candy to all the little kiddos together!!
We always make a tally chart of the costumes to see what costume was most popular and it reminds us of our favorites. This tradition started when my oldest children were too old to Trick or Treat and wanted to still be part of the fun. They think being the candy hander-outers and costume trackers is the best part of the holiday. They dress their parts too, of course!
I love decorating the house and front yard, and handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters! Halloween is our favorite holiday around here.
I'm not a huge fan of Halloween but I do think the sweet decorations are adorable. I don't like any of the scary horror type of stuff.
Favorite Halloween tradition is to make a spooky dinner. It so much fun now that I have kids. They get a kick out of it!
I love going to the pumpkin patch to pick out just the perfect ones for our front porch! And of course taking our little guy trick-or-treating!

I love throwing a Halloween Party every year-mainly for the kids and their friends. :)
I am so torn every year because i love taking the kids trick or treating but i also love answering the door and seeing all the cute kids in the neighborhood. Love Halloween!

Having previously lived in Australia where Halloween isn't a big thing, my first year here I went to work dressed up (and have done so every year since). Now I'm a Mom, my little girl and I get dressed up and go shopping! It's awesome to see people's reactions.

We love trick-or-treating with our daughter in the little town 2 miles from our home. They bring out the volunteer Fire Dept, everyone gives out treats, and such friendly people.
We love to make cookies!
Decorating the house, feeling the autumn, crisp air, and wearing sweaters with boots are the best times at Halloween-time.
I love fall and halloween. Since having kids, we've had the tradition of getting matching pjs and taking pictures in them with all our trick-or-treating loot! Since I also have 2 girls born in October, it's treats all month long!

Halloween Party about 40ish. So for the first family to get here wins a door prize like a bag of trick or treat candy. We make a spooky kind of dinner like chilli served of sliced and Hot Dogs and mummy rolls. We also have a costum fashion show, through out the night we secretly write down our favorite and put it in a jar. We live close by a huge Pumpkin Patch ao we go there and we love it. We then come back to the house and warm up with Hot choclate and cupckes. Then we have our award ceramony. We love having parties. Thanks for letting me share.

I love trying to figure out what my kids want to be for Halloween every year.
We live in a rural area, so we head to my parents, and let the kids trick-or-treat there. There are only about a dozen houses, but we know everyone, and it makes it much funner for all!!!
Growing up my favorite halloween tradition was the Hay Ride! The trailer would come by and pick us all up, we'd ride around our small town trick or treating, then it would drop us off at home at the end of the night. We were usually exhausted from the fun filled evening..but it made great memories!

everything! going to this pumpkin carve we go to, baking the seeds, caramel apples, haunted hayrides.
My favorite is the whole family getting together for crock pot chili and stew then taking the kids trick or treating.

We love breaking out the decorations mid-September! We also host Halloween party for my kids and their friends. Lots of fun memories!
We always do a corn maze, hay ride, and go to a pumpkin patch and pick out our own pumpkins. It is always so much fun. Also the friday before halloween our town businesses pass out candy to all the children. We also go to the zoo the sunday before halloween and they pass out healthy treats to kids. I love the holiday season!

Our family does all of the Fall festivals and trick or treating together :) My kids love doing everything with there Aunt and Uncle, Nani and Grandpa every year and this year my husband will get to join us!!! He usually has to work on the weekend that most of the festivals fall on.
I love our Halloween calendar, where we do a fall activity each day, counting down until we go trick or treating.

My favorite Halloween tradition is making vanilla cupcakes with orange frosting. One mallowcream pumpkin is placed on top of each cupcake. My mom started this tradition when I was a little girl.

I love Halloween. We have a candy bowl that makes noise and has a creepy green hand that comes down as the kids take the candy. The older kids think it is cool, sometimes the little ones get scared.

I love decorating the outside of our home with my kids and picking out their costumes.
Every year our daughter and her cousin take photos together in costume at the pumkin patch. They are too cute!

One of my favorite Halloween traditions is leaving our "witch's cauldron" on the front porch, filled with trick-or-treat candy with a "help yourself" sign while we take our son out to do his trick-or-treating. When we come home, I'm always thrilled to see that there is definitely candy gone, but it's obvious that no one has grabbed handfuls - there is still plenty for everyone!
Favorite tradition...my mom's homemade carmel/puffed rice treats! No one makes homemade treats anymore...but my mom still does. People FLOCK to her door at Halloween for a treat. The best part, she loves having the visitors--especially the grown ups!

Decorating pumpkins!
Well, the obvious ones...carving pumpkins with my kids, trick or treating with my kids...etc. But, last year, my friend threw a Halloween Costume party where everyone had to come prepared with a magic trick! It was seriously the funnest party I've ever been to...and will for sure be a favorite tradition for years to come.
We get little pumpkins and decorate them with markers, googly eyes, fake hair, and anything you can think of!
I love everything about Halloween- from pumpkins, to customes, to candy!! I have a themed Halloween party every year. They are a blast!

One of our favorite Halloween traditions is turning our children's black & white hanging portraits into different characters by drawing on the glass with a dry erase marker. We turned a child into Harry Potter, a skeleton, etc.
